Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 5, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of tickets to, and attendance at, events organised by Harmoneko Hong Kong Limited (“BeerMood,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the BeerMood 36-Hour Overnight Beer Festival, and your use of the BeerMood website (beermoodhk.com). By purchasing a ticket or attending an event, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Tickets and Purchases

  • 1.1 Tickets are sold through our official website (beermoodhk.com) via our authorised ticketing system.
  • 1.2 All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and are inclusive of applicable payment processing fees unless stated otherwise.
  • 1.3 A valid ticket (digital QR code or as otherwise specified) must be presented at entry.
  • 1.4 We reserve the right to limit the number of tickets purchased per person or transaction.
  • 1.5 In addition to our official website, tickets may also be made available through selected third-party ticketing platforms authorised by us, which may include platforms such as Klook or Timable (to be confirmed). Purchases made through an authorised platform are treated as official purchases and remain subject to these Terms; your transaction with that platform may also be separately governed by that platform’s own booking or service terms.
  • 1.6 We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, promotions, or customer service provided by any third-party ticketing platform. Ticket validity and entry conditions at the event remain governed by these Terms regardless of the platform through which a ticket was purchased.

2. Refunds and Cancellations by Purchaser

  • 2.1 All ticket sales are final. Except as set out in Section 3 (Event Cancellation or Postponement by Organiser), tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including in cases of purchaser’s inability to attend, illness, travel disruption, or change of mind.
  • 2.2 Please review session dates, times, and entry conditions carefully before purchasing, as no refund will be issued for purchasing the wrong session or ticket type.

3. Event Cancellation, Postponement, or Material Change by Organiser

  • 3.1 If we cancel the event entirely, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid, processed within a reasonable timeframe via the original payment method.
  • 3.2 If the event is postponed, tickets will generally remain valid for the rescheduled date; where a ticket holder cannot attend the rescheduled date, we will offer a refund upon request within a reasonable window to be communicated at the time.
  • 3.3 We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, session times, breweries/exhibitors, or venue layout due to circumstances beyond our control (see Section 8, Force Majeure). Minor changes of this nature do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.

4. Ticket Transfer and Resale

  • 4.1 Tickets are personal to the purchaser and are non-transferable and may not be resold (this restriction does not apply to purchases made through platforms we have authorised under Section 1.5). Each ticket is linked to a unique QR code valid for one entry only.
  • 4.2 You are solely responsible for keeping your ticket and QR code secure and confidential, and must not share, publish, or otherwise disclose it to any other person.
  • 4.3 The first valid scan of a QR code at entry will be treated as that ticket having been used. Any subsequent attempt to use the same QR code will be refused entry, regardless of who presents it or how they obtained it.
  • 4.4 We accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, leakage, unauthorised sharing, or reuse of a QR code, or for any resulting refusal of entry, however it arises.
  • 4.5 We reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel any ticket, without refund, where we reasonably suspect fraud, duplication, unauthorised transfer, or a breach of these Terms.

5. Age Policy and Alcohol Service

  • 5.1 General admission by session: Any attendee under the age of 18 (“minor”) must be accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times while on site. Valid government-issued photo identification may be required.
  • 5.2 In accordance with Hong Kong law, no alcohol will be sold or supplied to any person under the age of 18, at any time, regardless of session or accompaniment. Staff and vendors may request identification from any attendee who appears to be under 18 before serving alcohol, and may refuse service where identification is not provided.
  • 5.3 Any minor found consuming alcohol, or any accompanying adult found permitting or facilitating this, will result in immediate removal of both the minor and their accompanying party from the venue, without refund.
  • 5.4 Attendees found to be intoxicated, disorderly, or in breach of venue rules may be refused entry or removed from the venue at the sole discretion of event staff or security, without refund.

6. Entry Conditions and Code of Conduct

  • 6.1 We reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any attendee for conduct that endangers themselves, other attendees, staff, or the venue, including but not limited to intoxication, aggressive behaviour, or breach of these Terms.
  • 6.2 Bag checks and security screening may be conducted at entry. Outside food, beverages (including alcohol), and prohibited items (as posted at the venue) are not permitted.
  • 6.3 Attendees must comply with all reasonable instructions from event staff, security personnel, and venue management.

7. Liability

  • 7.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or restricted under the laws of Hong Kong, including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71).
  • 7.2 Subject to Section 7.1, attendance at the event is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of enjoyment, or loss of or damage to personal property, except where caused by our negligence or breach of a duty of care.
  • 7.3 We recommend attendees consume alcohol responsibly and arrange safe transportation home.

8. Force Majeure

  • 8.1 We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disaster, government action, public health measures, venue unavailability, strikes, or other events of force majeure.
  • 8.2 Where the event is affected by force majeure, Section 3 (Event Cancellation, Postponement, or Material Change) applies.

9. Photography, Video, and Marketing

  • 9.1 By attending, you acknowledge that photography and video may be taken at the event for use in future marketing, social media, and promotional materials, and that you may appear in such recordings.
  • 9.2 If you do not wish to appear in promotional photography or video, please contact privacy@beermoodhk.com in advance, or notify event staff on-site; we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this but cannot guarantee exclusion from wide crowd shots.
  • 9.3 See our Privacy Policy for further information on how we handle personal data.

10. Merchandise Sales

  • 10.1 We may sell official BeerMood merchandise and other retail items (“Merchandise”) via beermoodhk.com and through our authorised selling channels, which may include participating local taprooms and on-site sales during event days.
  • 10.2 All Merchandise sales, including any items provided as free gifts or promotional items (“Freebies”), are final. Merchandise and Freebies are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any discount, except where required by law.
  • 10.3 Please check the item specification, size, and condition carefully before completing your purchase, as no refund or exchange will be provided for a change of mind, incorrect size selected, or dissatisfaction with an item that matches its stated specification.
  • 10.4 We take reasonable care to describe Merchandise accurately; however, minor variations in colour, packaging, or design may occur between what is shown online and the item you receive.
  • 10.5 Merchandise purchased through unauthorised third parties is not covered by this policy, and we accept no responsibility for such purchases.

11. Intellectual Property

The BeerMood name, logo, and related branding are the property of Harmoneko Hong Kong Limited. No part of the event or website content may be reproduced for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your attendance at the event are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Ticket Tiers, Tokens, and Wristbands

  • 14.1 Tickets are sold in tiers (currently Tasting Pass, Premium Pass, and 36-Hour Master Pass), each including a stated number of physical tokens, one or more session wristbands, and a BeerMood event glass, as described on the Tickets page.
  • 14.2 Wristbands verify entry and re-entry for their applicable session and must be worn at all times while on site. Where a ticket covers multiple sessions, a separate wristband is issued for each session; the wristband applicable to the current session must be worn for entry and re-entry to that session.
  • 14.3 Tokens become the property of the ticket holder once issued. Tokens are non-refundable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any discount. Tokens will not be replaced or reissued if lost, stolen, or damaged, whether used or unused, and regardless of session.
